A gold filled Signet Touchdown filler from the USA. Dating from around 1950, this has the Touchdown plunger filling system but is not the later Snorkel version - so more reliable and less complicated. Also unlike the Snorkel version, this has a small transparent ink view window at the rear of the nib unit. This has a fine grade 14k two tone gold USA nib. This has one small ding on the cap (to the left of the clip) but is otherwise excellent. - 1950
