Excellent English Parker 51 Mk1 in midnight blue with steel classic cap. This is fitted with a medium 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of approx 0.6mm
In terms of condition, this has only been lightly used and is in excellent overall condition.
In terms of dating, this is a late production Mk1 from around 1965-68. This dating is suggested by the cap having the '51' imprint as well as the Halo; the sac protector being the later one piece metal version and the barrel having the vent hole on the side rather than in the end as earlier

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
This is a Parker 51 with the aerometric filling system. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges
