This is a Parker 51 Classic with steel cap in teal blue and is fitted with a fine 14k gold nib which produces a writing line of around 0.4mm
Condition wise, this is a superb example and shows no signs of having been used. The cap retains its original factory frosting while the barrel still has some of the original chalk marks
In terms of dating, this was probably manufactured around 1963 as the cap imprint includes the halo imprint, the cap is fitted with the later finger type clutch and the cap lip is still polished
This is an aerometric Parker 51. The pen fills from an ink bottle and does not take cartridges

We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen, ultrasonically cleaning all the parts and fitting a new pliglass ink sac. We then reassemble the pen, check ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
